Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre - Thunder Bay

the well-kept pool delighted my grandson, and the spacious room featured a patio door and various amenities, including a fridge and microwave. I found the bed comfy and the selection of channels on the tv satisfying. although there were some issues with internet connectivity and the patio door lock, the friendly front desk staff made the check-in process smooth, and I enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, despite its slightly higher prices.

Overall had such great stay out of service for a day during our visit. The room we had included a seating area, ironing facilities, and a work desk.

Everything was fine, excellent staff, particularly good location just off the airport and shopping/restaurants, Valhalla Inn and the outskirts of Thunder Bay. Pet-friendly and newly decorated unit with a microwave and refrigerators.

I really enjoyed my stay and felt it was a great value for the price. The location was fantastic and the staff treated me kindly and promptly.

Food for breakfast could be a little more affordable.

My stay was really great for a road trip. The whole room was exceptionally nice with microwave, the amenities. A huge variety of food for breakfast, which was appetising to satisfy everyone. I didn't want to leave and will come back.

The location was peaceful on the outskirts of Thunder Bay.

Our room was spacious and clean, perfect for a family stay, and we loved the pool and hot tub for some relaxation with our baby. the restaurant service fell short, as our meal was served cold. the experience was good, and the nearby attractions like the Thunder Bay Art Gallery and Mount McKay Scenic Lookout were highlights for family bonding. We would consider staying again.

A Nice Stay in Thunder Bay

I was eager to visit Mount McKay for its stunning views, so I chose the Valhalla for its prime location. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's commitment to ensuring equal opportunity service with disabilities. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s needs. I enjoyed the casual dining experience at the Timbers Restaurant, where I savored delicious meals offered by the attentive culinary team.

Room cleanliness was lacking.

The king room was elegant with real fireplace, the bed was soft.

Good location. Good fresh room, good food, good people.
